India moves a huge share of freight by road. Many loads still move through phone calls and informal brokers. A logistics marketplace is a digital place where suppliers publish loads and truckers discover them, then coordinate in one app.
TranZfort is that kind of marketplace on Android. It is a technology facilitator. It does not own trucks, employ drivers, carry cargo, or process freight payments.
Who uses it
| Role | Main job in the app | |------|---------------------| | Supplier | Post a load, review booking requests, chat, follow trip stages | | Trucker | Find loads, send booking requests, chat, update stages, upload proofs |
Indie suppliers and truckers use the TranZfort app. Companies that need multi-seat dispatch can ask about ZAFTYS TMS on zaftys.com. TMS is a separate web product. Overflow publish into TranZfort is not a live self-serve feature today.
The basic flow
-
Sign up and document review
Create an account as supplier or trucker. Upload the documents the app asks for (address proof, PAN, profile photo, plus RC for truckers or a business licence for suppliers). Marketplace posting and accepting usually wait on platform review. -
Post or find a load
Suppliers enter origin, destination, cargo, and vehicle needs, then publish. Truckers open Find Loads, search by route, and open load details. -
Booking request
The trucker sends a booking request. The supplier approves or rejects. This is not an instant “book it now” button with no human review. -
Chat and trip stages
After approval, both sides can chat in-app. The trucker advances stages such as pickup, in transit, and delivery. Optional LR and POD photo uploads support proof of work. -
Payment outside the app
Freight money stays between supplier and trucker. TranZfort does not collect, hold, or guarantee freight payments.
What the marketplace is not
- Not a live GPS map for counterparties (stages and optional milestone snapshots only)
- Not an AI chatbot that finds loads by voice command
- Not a full TMS dashboard inside the Play app
Why this matters for empty km
Better discovery and clearer requests can reduce wasted broker calls. Results still depend on lane mix, timing, and user behavior. See also our note on empty trucks and marketplaces.
